It's Spring

I love spring and had a blast last weekend while down in San Diego. Finally, after 20 years of visiting, made it to the Flower Fields. Many of us find that our thoughts of quilting tools turn to thoughts of gardening tools this time of year... so, on this last day of the Trail-Marker#1 Give-Away... post a comment about your favorite gardening tool and get included in the drawing. Hope you enjoy the photos from the FFs and they get your creative ideas flowing. Happy Spring!

Wow! Really beautiful Rose! I wonder when the poppy fields out in Lancaster will be in there prime! Think I'll google it right now... I see a field trip in my future. Thanks for the reminder :)

I forgot to add what my one of my favorite gardening tools is...and that is my hands.

Enjoyed the flower photos (my yard is still mostly snow-covered).
My favorite garden tool is a little old butter knife -- I can nudge seeds into place, flick out or cut off little weeds, scratch the soil around carrots or potatoes to see if they're large enough for a tasty nibble, etc.

How beautiful! My hubby and I were just talking about taking a field trip to the poppy fields in Lancaster. It's on the "must do" list. My favorite gardening tools are my little cushy handled clippers. I love having fresh cut flowers all through the house!

A good tool is your computer. You can manipulate your own images, create designs and surf endlessly on free patterns and quilt ideas. Seeing other peoples work is invaluable...and it's great to share ideas and inspirations.
