Quilt Market was, as always filled with all things new and also quilters and shop owners that are quite willing to share their knowledge and experience. I had so much fun greeting folks in my booth from as far away as New Zealand and Belgium and as near as just the other side of Kansas City.
Since it was my first time having a booth I learned quite a bit... including that there are quite a number of quilters that would like to have patterns of some of my raven quilts. Having been making these favorite gems for quite a while it would be hard for me to choose which ones, so I thought I'd ask for your help...
AND OF COURSE MAKE IT FUN!
Pick your favorite 3 raven quilts from the 16 pictured
and leave their numbers in the comments here.
Once you've left your choices in the comments...
You're entered for a chance to win
a stuffed raven like the fellow above.
Thank You & Good luck,
the lucky winner will be pulled on July 1st!

4,5 & 7 although i love them all
Glad to hear you had a good time at Quilt Market.
All of your RavenSpeak Quilts are beautiful, but I'd say#1, #6 and #10 would be the ones I'd recommend for patterns "first".

Number 1 is my absolute favorite because of the colors and because it looks like they are soaring in the late dusk. It's enchanting!
Number 4 because it looks so celebratory.
Number 16 because of the simplicity of its' composition.
But I love the number 15 jail bird a lot too, because how could I not?
(I know that's four instead of three, sorry!)
Mine are 13, 12, and 10...I like the world view...sort of up there and looking over "things"
10, 12 and 14 are my top choices but I could go for more! They are all very cool in different ways but I like the lines of these especially. Thanks for sharing them all.
1,10, & 14.......Are the first three that caught my eye....thanks for the fun!!
# 9
# 12
# 2

I didn't see my very favorite of your ravens however?? the purple & yellow ones.

7,9,13 are my choices.
My favorites are 5, 11 and 12!
4, 13 and 14... tough decisions!
Wow, this is no easy feat! How do you narrow it to 3? I've always loved the ravens and the landscapes are stunning, so I leaned in that direction. 9, 14, 15. I've seen 14 in person and it took my breath away, my favorite
13, 14, 9

Love them!
My favorite is 9, then 14, 12.
There were several, but I'd have to say 1, 12 and 13 were my favorites.
Number 5. I had to click on it to see the whole quilt. Its beautiful.
It was hard to narrow it down to just three!

I love 5, 8, and 9, but had a difficult time choosing just three!!
Hard to choose just 3 but I finally decided on 8,10, and 16. You can't go wrong with any of them! All gorgeous.

9, 12, 14
Hard to pick just three, but #1, #3 and #8 get my votes.
Only three?? Okay then, -- #1, #3, & #8!
13, 14, 9 altho they all rock
# 5, # 9 and # 10. Really wonderful ravens!
My favourite one is not listed but may already be a pattern...my favourite is the one where the girl is flying on the ravens back.
#5 is my second favourite of yours, then #3, then #6.
BUT anything you make I think is amazing.
Kindest Regards
Lisa Rhodes
Oh they are all gorgeous!!! But my favorites are numbers 1, 8 and 10. Awesome ravens!
This was definitely not an easy task so I though more in terms of what would be an appealing pattern than just what I love. So I'd pick 9, 16, 11. Good luck! I think you will be successful whatever you choose.
It's hard to choose, but I vote for #5 and #10 because they're so beautiful and graceful. But that whimsical bad-boy, #15, has also stolen my heart.
Keep on keepin' on, Rose. You inspire me!
My Favorite is #8, then #5 with #1 as a runner up. I'm a fan of Klimt and the movement of early 20th century art;
The movement in #8 reminded me of a surrendering dance with the heart to the heavens and the face averted, allowing the subject to let the wind carry it rather than subscribe to the flight of its own wings. The detail of the face, specifically in regard to the beadwork adds a frame of ecstasy that allows the surrender to be whole-hearted and etherial.
In #5, the Ravens protected the expectation and potential of the eggs in a loving dance around the nest that is an extension of both ravens, with room for the hatched eggs to grow.
#1 I liked because it was different; the warm colors set a tone unlike the blue/silver cool blends I saw in the other quilts. It reminded me of sunset.
I could write forever about these quilts; however, I need to wake up my two kids and get ready for school. Overall, your work is beautiful. The images of you musing artistically before you create them is just breathtaking. I've never seen this kind of talent, and have a friend who quilts that will be viewing your sight as soon as I can get it to her!
Thank you for sharing!

Wow that was really hard, luckily I got three choices not just one. Love #1, #8 & #10
Wow glad you let me choose three and not just one! That was hard. Number one is my absolute favorite with the color and texture, and I love #8 and #10 as well!
5, 7 og 11 i nævnte rækkefølge, men alle er så fantastiske.
I like #1, 3# and #16. They are all so beautiful!!
My choices are #11, #1, and #10. Tough call because they are all beautiful.
5, 8, and 16. But #5 really stands out for me - I was drawn to it immediately when the gallery page opened. Love seeing all your raven quilts like this!
