I am under the needle... stitching and writing, writing and stitching... having a great time finishing up my manuscript for BOOK2. It is really exciting, but a deadline is a deadline and I have been working on the book and neglecting the pictures from the Long Beach Quilt Festival. Sorry...
It really was a big party, with lots of seeing people, catching up, meeting new folks with the added benefit of QUILTS, QUILTS and way too many cool vendors... The photo below is of me giving my lecture 'Embellishment Scavenger Hunt' on Saturday morning. Jo is the person behind the quilt... and her own quilt can be seen as part of the Detours exhibit tour here as well.
