Dream Landscapes @ New Moon Textiles
Book two made it all in to the publisher and I celebrated with a great group of women at New Moon Textiles in Pasadena, CA. They all came with photos of some of their favorite places, and by Sunday afternoon these memories had been stitched up (using Fast-Piece Applique) into wonderful quilts. Stitching and giggling all the way through....
Rose, I'm so glad I found your blog! I made a quilt for my daughter's school auction that brought in $700 using your Dream Landscapes Technique. I used fabric the kids dyed with Dye-Na-Flow. There's a bazillion photos on my blog, just click the "auction quilt" link on the left. I also work at Quilting Adventures in Richmond, where your traveling trunk show is now. :-)
Hi Cheryl, I loved your blog and your quilt. The theme of using a building to represent each child was great, and the color...well, you know I like color. It was a lot of fun seeing all the beading motifs you used. (especially liked the square beads) It is really great to see that the FPA has made it into your tool bag! Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna be checking out more. ~Rose
