Next Steps...

The piece being made from the Kaufman fabric solid Kona line is progressing along. The wonderful discharged pieces have been incorporated and are here stitched together to create the quilt top. Will next be moving along with some paint before couching and quilting occurs.

amazing - you move those discharge fabrics right along and make magic

thank you Diane & joanell for your comments. the making of the fabric was half the fun, but seeing it come together (at least so far) does seem a bit like magic. i'm hoping the rest comes together as well, and will definitely post more.

Love seeing how you work, Rose. I, too, number each segment of my drawings. My own kind of color by numbers.

It is a wonderful piece, love the colors and the solidity of the tree. About how big is it?; having trouble figuring the scale. Thanks for showing us the process.

Hi Nancy, the piece is 30"wx40"h. It is patiently awaiting further attention--will be taking next steps on it over the next few days. Thank you for your comments.
